Kerr Mackie is a large and thriving primary school in the Roundhay area of Leeds. Site Superintendent

Payscale: B1, point 4

Contract type: Permanent. To start as soon as possible. 
Year round contract with 20 days holiday per annum (plus 5 days per annum for 5 years local government service) plus 8 statutory holidays (pro rata for part-time working).

Hours: 27 1/2 hours per week. 12pm - 6pm, Monday to Friday.

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, conscientious and adaptable Site Superintendent to join our caring and committed staff team, to start as soon as possible.  You will work in partnership with our morning Site Superintendent to ensure a welcoming, safe and high quality environment for our school community.

 The successful candidate will:

  • Be committed to the maintenance and development of our high quality school environment
  • Be a confident and successful team player
  • Be able to work as part of a team, engaging with staff and children alike
  • Be able to adapt their DIY and maintenance skills to ensuring the high standards of our learning environments (both indoor and out)
  • Be able to show a sense of pride in ensuring that our school environment is safe, clean and well maintained
  • Be able to show initiative
  • Be able to work in a timely and efficient manner
  • Have a sense of fun, enthusiasm, initiative and drive
