Role: Level 1 TA with SEND focus
Pay scale: A1/B1 pt2
Contract: Fixed-term contract until 02/04/2027
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 8.30am - 3.30pm (32.25 hours per week)
We are seeking to appoint a Level 1 Teaching Assistant to join our team. Duties will include supporting the class teacher with teaching & learning, SEND support for pupil(s), carrying out interventions and any other related duties.
The successful candidate will:

Support pupils’ personal, social, health and welfare needs, including implementing individual programmes.

Ensure pupils’ safety, wellbeing and full access to learning throughout the school day.

Provide supervision during lessons and at key times, including lunchtimes and before/after school.

Work closely with pupils with SEND, delivering targeted 1:1 and small group support.

Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils, staff and families, acting as a strong role model.

Promote inclusion, high standards of behaviour and a culture of respect and acceptance.

Communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders and contribute positively to the school community.

Demonstrate enthusiasm, initiative and high expectations, working both independently and as part of a committed team.
