Every House on Every Street
This week in Nursery, we have started reading the story Every House in Every Street. We learnt that people live in different types of houses.
We used various construction materials inside and outside to build houses that were all sorts of shapes and sizes. By the end of the week, we had a range of terraced houses, bungalows, detached houses and even flats.
IR-S: It' a house on its own, it's a detached house. That's how my house is.
HA: My house has got a big door and windows.
H-A M: I have 2 sofas in my living room, and I sleep in my bedroom!
ZC: My house has got a chimney like this one.
We also thought about the people that live inside houses and learnt that there are different family members in everyone’s family.
We looked at pictures of different families and compared them to our own. Everyone had a go at drawing a picture of their family, even Miss Wilkinson!
