This half term the children were given a range of electrical games to explore. They played with them and decided what they thought the positives and the negatives of each of the games, who they were aimed at and how they were made.
The children learnt in science all about how to make a complete circuit, creating our own switches after investigating what materials were conductors and insulators. They also researched different inventors and what their impact was.
Once they had learnt all about electricity the children used this knowledge to then create their own electrical game for other children to play. These were a wide range of games but every single one had an electrical circuit with some form of switch within them. They made these and then evaluated how these games had worked and whether the electrical circuit allowed the game to work.
