To access the learning your child(ren) have been issued with passwords. Please contact your child's teacher, through the school office, if you need these to be sent out again.
Most of our learning will use the four web platforms below:
Links to other recommended resources to support your child's learning are provided below:
Parklands Virtual Library has a fantastic selection of free audiobooks.
Yorkshire Water's home learning hub contains a wide range of resources, including some excellent activity booklets.
BBC have also made a wide range of resources, including video clips and games, available for all primary school children.
All year groups will also be hosting Zoom meetings at least once a week. Details of these will be sent out in advance via Parent Mail and the Purple Mash email tool, if your child uses this.
Nursery, Reception and Year 1
We are working mostly through Tapestry, but some classes will also be setting tasks in Mini-Mash. Daily home learning support videos and materials are posted for the children to access. They are the same as what the children in school are receiving. Parents are then able to upload pictures and videos of the children’s learning at home for teachers to see.
Most of the learning will be set through Purple Mash. As with the younger children, the work set will reflect what the children in school are also doing. New work will appear in your child's '2Do' list on a daily basis. Most tasks will be available for a few days, but we recommend working through them as they appear. Most work can be completed online although we are also happy for work to be done off-line, then photographs emailed to your teachers through the Purple Mash email tool.
The websites below may also be useful to support your child's learning. Occasionally, tasks may be set using these websites. If that is the case hyperlinks will be sent out to your children with their regular activities.
