How can I be a computer scientist?

  • Begin to think about code structure in terms of ability to debug and interpret the code later.
  • Can use logical methods to identify the approximate cause of any bug, then, with support, find the exact line of code.
  • Can select the most appropriate form of online communication, depending on audience and content.
  • Search with greater complexity for digital content using a search engine.
  • Explain in some detail how credible the information on a web page is.
  • Have a secure knowledge of common online safety rules.
  • Relate appropriate online behaviour to their right to privacy and the mental wellbeing of themselves and others.
